Senior Structural Engineer – Relocate to Namibia

We're looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer with an impressive track record of meeting project requirements according to strict deadlines.

As pioneers in the Civil Engineering industry, our client transforms ideas into real solutions and they are looking for a detail-orientated, technically skilled Structural Design Engineer to join their team. Covering a wide range of industries, our client provides innovative and comprehensive engineering solutions.

You'll need an engineering degree, preferably in Civil Engineering and have a Pr. Eng, registration with ECN or ECSA. Having had 7+ years of pure structural engineering experience, you are adept at managing project contracts and have supervised the construction of several projects. On top of that, you find joy in mentoring younger engineers and technicians

Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Masters' in civil engineering (Highly advantageous)
  • Registered with ECN/ECSA as a PR.Eng
Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Create and execute comprehensive project plans that detail milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs. Your strategic planning will set the stage for project success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders. Address their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, budgets, and materials.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of project plans, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget to drive project delivery.
  • Project Monitoring: Continuously track project progress using key performance indicators (KPIs). Your insights will guide adjustments and ensure projects meet or exceed expectations.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess both the project team and project performance, making necessary adjustments to optimise outcomes and achieve project objectives.
  • Project Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders.
