POSITION SUMMARY
The Paid Media Account Specialist supports the Account Manager by ensuring the smooth execution of paid media campaigns. This includes managing campaign trafficking, maintaining quality assurance for briefs, monitoring team capacity, and coordinating projects. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, problem-solving, and aligning campaign execution with media strategies.
The ideal candidate has a strong digital marketing background, exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage team workloads effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Management & Execution
- Ensure accurate and timely trafficking of paid media campaigns across platforms.
- Maintain high-quality standards for campaign briefs and deliverables.
- Monitor team capacity and manage resource allocation for efficient workflows.
- Coordinate projects to ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Campaign Managers to provide updates and flag capacity concerns.
- Identify and troubleshoot day-to-day issues related to campaign execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting risks and potential delays.
Client Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding paid media strategies and performance updates.
- Present performance reports, offering insights and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to align paid media campaigns with broader marketing goals.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with account managers, creative teams, and clients to align on campaign objectives.
- Build relationships with platform representatives (e.g., Google Growth Strategists, Meta Marketing Pros).
- Contribute to cross-functional marketing initiatives that integrate paid media into larger campaigns.
- Provide training or mentorship to junior team members when needed.
General & Ad Hoc Tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director: Digital Marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in paid media management or a related role.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital advertising platforms.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Proven track record in managing successful campaigns and projects.
- Google Ads or Facebook Blueprint certification is a plus.
