We need someone who will ensure that the overall architecture of a software application aligns with business goals and requirements, while also considering scalability, maintainability, performance and security.

You Bring
  1. Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead or a related role with a focus on designing and architecting complex software systems.
  3. Strong expertise in software architecture patterns, methodologies and best practices.
  4. Strong planning and organisational skills.
  5. Actively identify opportunities for improvement, targeted specifically at your role and function.
  6. Strategise, invent or originate previously unknown opportunities.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced growing environment.
What You'll Do
  1. Architecture Design: Develop and communicate the overall software architecture and technical solutions that align with business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  2. System Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, including performance, scalability, and security, to identify areas for improvement and recommend architectural enhancements.
  3. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  4. Reviewing Standards: Constantly review adherence to defined standards and update them as needed to align with business strategy.
  5. Prototyping And Proof Of Concepts: Design and develop prototypes and proof of concepts to validate architectural decisions and assess the feasibility of new technologies or solutions.
  6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies in software architecture and propose mitigation strategies.
  7. Collaboration And Communication: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
  8. Research And Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices related to software architecture.
