Sales Executive – R20k / month – KZN (Hybrid) – Perm – Start asap – Open to all

POSITION INFO: Our well-established client in the FMCG industry is looking for a strong Sales Executive to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  1. Hybrid Channel service and growth in independent and key account customers.
  2. Includes Formal and Informal Markets as well as both On & Off Trade.
  3. Responsible for maintaining a positive relationship between the client and the company.
  4. Responsible for ongoing market research, analysis, and application of sales strategies.
  5. To call on existing customers in the trade and to meet business development goals.
  6. To increase our focus brands listings at store level.
  7. Managing customer's account with regards to credit limit, terms, and payments.
  8. Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service.
  9. Provide feedback on own and competitor trade activities.
  10. Will include the management of events and/or in-store promotions and may require working on relevant Weekend Days & Public Holidays.
  11. Reporting back and keeping admin up to date in the required format specified by your Line Manager.
  12. To ensure continuous product availability in both partners and outlets.
  13. Ensure sufficient stock rotation across channels and partners.
  14. Effective category management and in-store merchandising.
  15. Ensure effective product merchandising is conducted.
  16. Effective sales on a full basket of all SKU's as per Brand portfolio.
  17. Customer retention on all accounts.
  18. Proactively sourcing new business on all SKU Brands.
  19. Effective KPI management as set forth Monthly, quarterly.

ADDITIONAL:

  1. CRM management with % information input and reporting.
  2. Company asset management with full compliance on rules and regulations.
  3. Call cycle compliance with quarterly updates.
  4. Company financial management – outer trips, entertainment, and ad-hoc.
  5. Effective time management as set forth within job description and additional responsibilities.
  6. Uphold the culture and standards.
  7. Effective management and timeously submission on all Administration.

Qualifications:

  1. Matric compulsory.
  2. Certificate or Diploma from Tertiary institution would be preferred.
  3. Minimum 3 years' experience in a Sales Environment.
  4. Minimum 3 years' experience in the FMCG industry.
  5. Must currently be working within the FMCG industry.
  6. Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
