Potentiam are a rapidly growing global offshore provider of highly qualified professional services & technical staff to UK and European companies currently employing over 220 staff in our 4 countries with growth plans to increase our client offshore teams to over 500+ staff in the next 3-4 years. Potentiam already has over 40 (forty) client partners with over 200 client staff across our 5 global locations. Key to Potentiam's success is our global HR teams and the deep expertise of our consultants in data analytics, digital marketing, technology, and finance.

Potentiam work with clients in finance, energy, leisure, marketing, business services and technology industries. We manage our staff's career development and personal development training, all infrastructure, HR, & payroll with our clients directly managing day to day staff responsibilities and role training and development.

Potentiam is looking for a highly analytical and collaborative compensation analyst to go on an exciting journey with Potentiam in a business critical role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. You will be fully responsible for owning the finalization of a recently developed bespoke compensation & career stack intelligence platform, taking existing infrastructure and collecting, validating and building out specific career verticals with reliable and accurate compensation intelligence.
  2. Further develop established "Vertical Career Stacks" with the assistance of the "nominated specialist Consultant" if required, for the vertical and/or senior managers in the business for each respective vertical.
  3. Continuously refine and adapt business rules to ensure relevancy and integrity of our compensation & career intelligence platform, correcting misalignments and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as HR and Talent Acquisition teams and third-party providers.
  4. Design & further development of the methodology of the process as to how compensation for each identified role can be gathered and validated. This process will include 3rd parties who have such data which we may want to include and the understanding of their process of collection to ensure integrity.
  5. Design of the 'Compensation Validation Process' and continuously work to improve data quality.
  6. Systems specification: Further develop the System (database) to hold all the Vertical Career Stacks, roles, and compensation for each role in each country and location in each country and building out Skills Matrixes and Job Descriptions from there.
  7. On-going process for Tri-annual updating of Salaries: The creation of a process for the Tri-annual updating of all salaries for all roles per location in each country with all data meeting and passing the validation process.
  8. Design of process for the reviewing & updating of new Roles: As we progress with hiring a wider variety of roles the updating and creation of new roles in Vertical Career Stacks.
  9. Support internal teams with updated market intelligence during the employee life cycle.
  10. The addition of new locations & countries: new locations in existing countries and new countries with new locations will be added and the existing processes and systems will need to be updated to include the new in all respects.
  11. Over time, research and understand changes in our target client market (UK SMEs) – risks, opportunities and commercial factors that can present opportunities for Potentiam.

Required experience

  1. You will have a background in organizational and compensation design activities and comfortable dealing with a high volume of data OR a highly experienced project manager used to deal with a data heavy and high analytical range of projects.
  2. Have working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems.
  3. You enjoy the challenge of working through a range of problems that require intellectual application to resolve and then the presentation and acceptance of the proposed solutions to several senior managers in different geographical locations to pre-determined timelines.
  4. You will also be comfortable working with technology teams (BA's and Lead Developers) who is key in creation and delivery of the technology to hold and report all the data to the respective users. (Clients; HR; Recruiters; Sales; Account Management)
