The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and support of all primary and secondary systems utilised within Astral Poultry Division.
  • Managing the day to day activities of all system analysts as well as ensuring that service levels within the business are maintained.
  • Consulting with business users on required systems modifications as well as assist with scoping of changes for outside vendors to quote on.
  • Providing second level support to all system analysts before calls are escalated to vendors.
  • Testing of all system and or integration changes, prior to implementation into the production environment.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum BCOM or BSC Qualification.
  • 5 years' experience in a system support environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Exposure to Infor LN and Marel Innova will be an advantage.
  • The individual should be able to do standby and work under pressure.
  • Have a valid code 8/EB driver's license as well as reliable transport.
