Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive real estate investment strategies to maximize portfolio value and returns.
• Conduct thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Manage and oversee the performance of a diverse real estate portfolio, including commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate sector.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, investment appraisals, and performance reviews for senior management and stakeholders.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with brokers, property managers, tenants, and other third-party service providers.
• Identify opportunities for value enhancement through property development, redevelopment, or repositioning initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and key industry contacts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and asset management, to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or relevant professional designation (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in real estate investment, portfolio management, or asset management.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis within the real estate sector.
• In-depth knowledge of various real estate asset classes and market dynamics across South Africa.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of real estate legal and contractual matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proficiency in real estate software and financial analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting.
