You'll play a key role in transforming groundbreaking developments into production, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. 5+ years relevant work experience
3. Knowledge and experience of IATF core tools
4. Competent in using Microsoft Office
5. Competent in using 3D CAD modelling software
6. Project Management experience (Required)
7. Good manufacturing process knowledge & experience, i.e., CNC Tube & Plate bending

Responsibilities:

1. Take the lead in managing the engineering department by setting clear objectives, evaluating team performance against key deliverables, and conducting regular performance reviews.
2. Foster a high-performing team and present progress updates to stakeholders.
3. Spearhead the design and development of innovative products, from creating detailed product briefs and specifications to designing and generating manufacturing drawings.
4. Oversee the creation of quality specifications, ensuring all deliverables meet internal and external customer requirements.
5. Collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams, managing the entire project lifecycle.
6. Provide hands-on support with 3D CAD designs and engineering administration as needed, ensuring the team's overall success.
7. Drive the industrialization of products by managing the manufacturing design process to maximize efficiency using existing resources or identifying the best alternatives.
8. Design and oversee the creation of jigs, fixtures, and tooling, ensuring seamless handovers to production teams.
9. Validate processes by measuring product accuracy against design specifications.
10. Lead and manage projects from initial design through to production handover, ensuring timely delivery that meets specifications.
11. Dive into root cause analysis for product design and process challenges.
12. Develop and implement effective countermeasures to resolve issues and prevent recurrence, ensuring consistent product and process excellence.
