About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and inspirational Software Development Manager to lead their development team in Klerksdorp, North West . Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of software projects.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other teams to define project requirements and roadmaps.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
- Remove impediments and blockers for the development team.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role, leading software development teams.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and modern development frameworks.
- Strong technical background with the ability to guide and mentor engineers.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools and techniques.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
