About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead crucial IT infrastructure projects. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage complex projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects related to network upgrades, cloud migrations, data center operations, and cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in IT infrastructure, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment and integration of robust IT infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from initiation to closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure project success.
- Manage project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to address any deviations.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and outcomes effectively to technical teams and senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP certification is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing projects related to cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices for IT service management .
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for a remote environment.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools used in IT environments.
