An exciting opportunity awaits a results-driven and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor in the logistics industry based in Polokwane. Our client is seeking an individual who is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. They are seeking a proactive and experienced candidate to assist with the overall management and functioning of their Johannesburg operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of operations staff.
  2. Oversee fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and driver coordination.
  3. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  4. Manage and optimize warehouse and distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and resolving operational issues.
  6. Assist in training, mentoring, and developing team members to enhance productivity and service quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-negotiable.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within logistics, transport, or operations.
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
