This role is part of the Global D&T department of HEINEKEN International and specifically the AME Regional team. You will be part of the AME HyperAutomation Hub team (AHH), which is one of the regional hubs within the Technology stream. AHH is a fusion team focusing on embedding technology into business by identifying & implementing automation opportunities across HEINEKEN AME Operating companies, aligned with the governance and platforms offered by the Global Smart Technologies team, which consists of different product teams specialized in RPA (MS Power Automate, UiPath), Low Code solutions (MS Power Platform, OutSystems), and Cognitive AI.

As Senior Developer R&A, you have a primary task to develop, support, and implement different automation projects following global governance. You should have good experience in the application of standard software development principles. In addition, as an expert, you would be supporting business stakeholders with automation identification, contributing to preparing, designing, and refining the requirements to maximize value out of potential automation use cases. You will be working with our HEINEKEN business teams within our OpCos and Global products teams. As part of the team, you will also support the hub team with internal projects like driving Proof of Value's and process optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, support, and implement new or existing applications using primarily Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse) in compliance with HEINEKEN standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure optimum performance, availability, and security of solutions in accordance with security standards and policies, having governance and control adhered to in all stages.
  • Liaise with business SMEs to be a point of contact for automation technical expertise, contributing to:
    • Awareness workshops
    • Ideation
    • Deep-dives
    • Training
  • Translate functional requirements of potential automations into technical designs and create technical documentation.
  • Integrate automation solutions with other global solutions and the HEINEKEN data lake.
  • Deliver product enhancements within the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire to a zero-defect culture.
  • Proactively explore new technologies, products, and features that can be combined with the current toolkit.
  • Contribute to Proof of Value's and other internal team projects.
  • Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies: daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor/Master's degree, preferably in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Power Platform certifications (PL200/300/400/500/600/ or 900), OutSystems, or other automation technologies.
  • UiPath certification and experience will be advantageous.
  • Hands-on developing experience working on Power Platform projects for at least 3-5 years.
  • Successful record of automation project implementation.
  • Interpret and design database models (SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL).
  • Ability to combine different technologies in a single solution.
  • Project Management skills, with experience in leading automation projects independently.
  • Support and coach junior team developers.
  • Contribute to workshops facilitation and presentations.
  • Experience with supporting Team Leader, team coordination, and workload management.
  • Take ownership of projects to ensure success.
  • Ability to make appropriate recommendations regarding the most suitable technology for business processes/problems.
  • Analytical, structured, and possess great quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
  • Great team player, able to work effectively at all levels of the product team and influence others toward consensus.
  • Identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and build on the views of others.
  • Can-do and hands-on attitude while dealing with uncertainty in requirements & features to deliver MVP solutions.
  • Able to work in a high-pressure, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment with rapid release cycles.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Preferably have experience with additional technologies like OCR, IDP, and/or Process Mining.
Nice to have:
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with the Python programming language.
  • Experience with scripting programming languages.
