Data Analyst

Are you a sharp, detail-driven analyst with a knack for tax?

We're looking for a Tax Data Analyst to validate and reconcile financial data, focusing on offshore investment activities and their tax implications. If you're an expert in South African income tax law, with strong financial analysis skills, this is your chance to make an impact

What You'll Do:

  1. Analyse client financial data for accuracy, validity, and compliance.
  2. Perform data checks, reconciliations, and implement solutions to ensure accuracy.
  3. Integrate and manipulate data from multiple sources to meet business goals.
  4. Simplify complex tax data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  5. Engage with internal and external teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  6. Contribute to tax analysis, including capital gains, dividends, S24J, and more.

What You Need:

  1. Matric and relevant degree/diploma; post-graduate in Accounting or Tax preferred.
  2. 4 years in financial analysis, preferably in the financial services industry.
  3. MUST have strong South African tax knowledge (capital gains, dividends, income tax).
  4. Experience with offshore investment products.
  5. Advanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
