About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing cybersecurity firm focused on the blockchain industry, is seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Security Analyst for a fully remote role. In an era where digital asset security is paramount, your expertise will be crucial in protecting our clients' innovations. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks within blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments and audits of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and dApps.
- Identify vulnerabilities, exploits, and potential threats within blockchain systems.
- Perform penetration testing and risk analysis for decentralized applications.
- Develop and implement security best practices and guidelines for blockchain development.
- Monitor the blockchain landscape for emerging threats and attack vectors.
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security incidents and provide detailed post-mortem analyses.
- Contribute to the development of security tools and frameworks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cybersecurity and blockchain technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Blockchain Security Analyst , cybersecurity analyst, or penetration tester with blockchain experience.
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain security principles, cryptography, and common vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in auditing smart contracts and understanding of languages like Solidity.
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Familiarity with various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana).
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or blockchain security are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
