Our client in the Investment Management industry is seeking high performing, independent-minded academic achievers who are motivated and enthusiastic to join their graduate program in the Retail Client Services Division.

The Investment Service Consultant position is a permanent role designed for recent graduates with less than two years of work experience. As an Investment Service Consultant, your role is to make a significant impact by guiding clients through their investment journey, building trust and confidence with clients and advisers by delivering world-class service and support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to investors, potential investors, and independent financial advisers through multiple channels, including inbound calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Foster trust and confidence by clearly articulating the client's investment philosophy and long-term investment strategy.
  • Educate clients by providing detailed product and fund information, enabling them to make well-informed investment decisions.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, ensuring precise record-keeping and thorough documentation.
  • Contribute to the organisation's commitment to continuous improvement by actively participating in developing solutions to client issues.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree (BCom, BSc, BBusSci, BEng) - specialization includes Finance, Economics, Investments, Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics.
  • Final year students who are completing a Degree, or have already completed a Degree or Honours Degree.
  • Strong client focus and interest in investments.
  • Highly performance driven and individually accountable.
  • High adaptability, vigour, resilience, and agility.
  • A genuine passion for people with high levels of empathy.
  • Strong numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team while able to work independently.
  • Strong analytical thinking, accuracy with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relocation assistance provided for successful candidates outside of Cape Town (Ts & Cs Apply).
