Responsibilities
  • Provide expert input into the integrated Group SHEQ vision, strategy, policy, standards, processes and targets. Jointly responsible for the SHEQ business systems standards and process development and for the development and maintenance of SHEQ support and reporting tools and guidelines.
  • Provide expert lead on key issues related to the function as well as strategic SHEQ support and reporting issues. Jointly responsible for the embedding of SHEQ business systems and business processes.
  • Provide support services for business processes and management systems. Jointly responsible for effective delivery of management systems and framework development, and the effective delivery of management systems admin and support functions.
  • Provide support in generating and developing the Mine's audit schedule.
  • Responsible for the management of audit findings and ensuring close out of such findings.
  • Monitoring and maintaining of Sharepoint system.
  • Jointly responsible for ensuring that the SHEQ Business Systems function engages with its key stakeholders within the appropriate governance framework.
  • Conduct internal audits as per business and legal requirements.
  • Ensure that all external audits are conducted according to business and legal requirements.
  • Prepare accurate documentation, reporting and tracking are in place that drives compliance.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 / NCV 4 (NQF 4/10)
Experience and Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in SHEQ activities.
  • Experience in an administrative role or data capturing role.
  • Experience in SHE Management will be advantageous.
