Job Title: ELV / ICT Engineering Consultant

Job Description: As an ELV / ICT Engineering Consultant, you will play a critical role in the design and delivery of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems for high-profile projects across the Middle East.

You will apply your technical expertise to develop detailed design solutions and ensure project deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.

This role requires collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to drive project success and maintain exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Design & Delivery:
    1. Design and Documentation: Develop comprehensive ELV / ICT systems designs, including:
      1. Structured cabling systems (LAN / WAN, GPON, and wireless).
      2. CCTV systems, access control, and audio-visual systems.
    2. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and system schematics using AutoCAD and Revit.
  2. Compliance: Ensure designs meet Middle Eastern regulations (e.g., SIRA, ADMCC, MOI) and international standards (BICSI, ISO, TIA / EIA).
  3. Technical Support: Provide input and peer review of technical documentation prepared by the project team. Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure alignment with client requirements.
  4. Innovation & Solutions: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in ELV / ICT systems. Proactively identify opportunities for design and performance improvements.
  5. Project Management & Time Management: Manage your own deliverables and timelines across multiple projects. Provide regular progress updates and ensure milestones are achieved as planned.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated solutions. Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  7. Client Engagement & Team Development: Build strong relationships with clients and ensure technical solutions align with their needs. Support team members by offering mentorship and technical guidance. Represent the team in client-facing meetings, ensuring a professional and consultative approach.
Qualifications:
  1. Relevant Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  2. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in ELV / ICT systems design and delivery.
  3. Certifications preferred (or eligible to obtain): BICSI RCDD, AVIXA CTS, or equivalent.
  4. Proficiency in design and collaboration tools: AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
  5. Familiarity with Middle Eastern security and communications regulations (SIRA, ADMCC, MOI, CST, DU, Etisalat).

Preferred Experience:
  1. Prior experience working on projects in the Middle East region, such as commercial buildings, mixed-use developments, or high-end facilities.
  2. Experience in multi-disciplinary project environments with international teams.
Professional Development:
  1. Participate in conferences, training, and workshops to stay up to date with ELV / ICT advancements.
  2. Build relationships with technology providers to introduce innovative solutions into client projects.
