As a Tech Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing technical projects, ensuring quality code, and shaping the tech strategy. Working within the fast-paced world of iGaming, you'll lead a talented team of developers, transforming ideas into powerful, seamless gaming experiences. With a hands-on approach and strategic insight, you'll be the go-to expert for all things tech, supporting the development cycle from ideation to launch.

Your key job responsibilities as the Tech Lead in Johannesburg will include:

  1. Guide and inspire a team of developers, offering mentorship and fostering a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.
  2. Define and implement a robust tech strategy in alignment with product goals, balancing performance, scalability, and security.
  3. Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinating resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful, on-time launches.
  4. Ensure the highest standards of code quality through regular reviews, hands-on contributions, and adherence to best practices.
  5. Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA to create seamless, high-performance gaming solutions that enhance user experience.
  6. Tackle complex tech challenges, introducing new technologies and approaches to keep our client's products at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements for this Tech Lead job in Johannesburg:

  1. 5+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; iGaming or high-traffic tech experience is a plus.
  2. Proficient in a range of programming languages (such as Java, C#, JavaScript) and frameworks with a strong command of full-stack development.
  3. Proven ability to inspire and lead a team, with excellent communication and project management abilities.
  4. Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, balancing short-term fixes with long-term improvements.
