About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Industrial Engineer focused on Operations Excellence to join their team, supporting operations remotely with occasional travel. This role will drive significant improvements in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across various operational sites. You will analyze business processes, identify areas of waste, and implement data-driven solutions and best practices. This is a key position for an engineer passionate about continuous improvement and shaping the future of operational performance within the organization, working autonomously and collaboratively across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop actionable improvement plans.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and performance metrics to track progress.
- Facilitate and lead virtual workshops and training sessions on process improvement techniques.
- Collaborate with site leadership and operational teams to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
- Conduct remote analysis of plant layouts and workflows to suggest optimal configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on operations improvement.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience required.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into effective improvement strategies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for virtual environments.
- Experience with process mapping software and project management tools.
