You've got real depth across data and AI — data analysis, business analysis, and data or AI governance — enough to judge someone else's work fairly, and fast. This role is exactly that and nothing else: robust marking against the assessment criteria, turned around inside 48 hours, so learners never wait and cohorts never stall.

It's built for someone who wants flexible, focused work: no live delivery, no caseload — just high-quality assessment when the cohorts need capacity. Bootcamp units to start, and ideally apprenticeship portfolios too.

What you'll do

• Mark submissions across our subject areas — data analysis, business analysis, AI, and data or AI governance — using our AI-assisted flow in iO Academy: review the draft, make the final judgement against each assessment criterion, and write feedback specific enough to act on. Bootcamp cohorts to start, and ideally apprenticeship programmes too
• Hit the 48-hour SLA, reliably — that's the whole job, and it's what protects the learner experience
• Keep marking consistent and calibrated with the coaching team and our internal quality assurer (IQA)
• Keep assessment records accurate for a regulated, inspected provider

What we're looking for

• Subject-matter expertise across our areas — data analysis, business analysis, AI, and data or AI governance — enough to assess work in each with confidence
• Sound, consistent assessment judgement and clear, inclusive written feedback
• Reliable and organised — when you commit to 48 hours, it lands in 48 hours
• Ideally CAVA (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) — it's what lets you assess apprenticeship portfolios as well as bootcamp units. AET Level 3 covers the bootcamp side; if you hold neither, we can put you through CAVA — it isn't needed for immediate delivery, so there's time to gain it
• Experience assessing on Skills Bootcamps or apprenticeships is ideal
• Able to work UK hours

The essentials

• Flexible engagement to start, roughly four months. Starts October 2026.
• Remote, working UK hours
• Pay: ZAR 10,000-20,000 CTC per calendar month for 16 hours a week (flexible). Opportunity to expand if there's more work
• Enhanced DBS (or local equivalent) and safeguarding training — you'll be handling learner evidence for a regulated provider
