An exciting opportunity of a Quality Control Administrator has become available in New Germany. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is passionate, a self-starter and someone who pays attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Perform inspections and tests on products according to established procedures and specifications.
  2. Preparing of shipments documents – inspection packs and scanning to Management.
  3. Record and report inspection results accurately and promptly.
  4. Identify and document any non-conforming items or processes.
  5. Assist in investigating and resolving quality issues in collaboration with the line manager.
  6. Maintain inspection equipment and ensure they are calibrated and functioning properly.
  7. Assist in development Projects and sample approvals.
  8. Samples management (internal / external).
Required Qualifications :
  1. Matric compulsory.
  2. National diploma or equivalent in Operations Management, Quality, Industrial Engineering.
  3. Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role is preferred.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in recording data.
  5. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  6. Must be able to use a computer, Microsoft package.

  1. Attention to Detail : Ability to meticulously examine products, materials, and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  2. Critical Thinking : Capacity to analyse information and data to identify potential quality issues and propose solutions.
  3. Communication : Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills to report findings (report writing) and collaborate with team members.
  4. Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment to achieve quality goals.
  5. Adaptability : Flexibility to handle changes in priorities or procedures and adapt to varying work conditions.
  6. Time Management : Efficiently manage workload to meet inspection deadlines and maintain productivity.
Technical Skills :
  1. Quality Control Procedures : Understanding of inspection methods, sampling techniques, and quality control standards relevant to the industry.
  2. Use of Inspection Equipment : Ability in using measuring tools.
  3. Data Analysis : Ability to interpret inspection results, analyse data, and identify trends or patterns related to quality.
  4. Documentation : Keeping correct records, writing inspection reports, and documenting non-conformances or discrepancies.
  5. Basic Computer Skills : Familiarity with software applications for data entry, reporting, and communication (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
  6. Problem-Solving : Capability to find root causes of quality issues and contribute to corrective actions.
