Join a prestigious UK-based executive search firm specialising in placing senior talent within the mining, commodities, and energy sectors. We are seeking a driven Senior Research Associate to support the Director in identifying and engaging top-tier candidates for executive roles. You will play a key role in sourcing talent, building rapport with high-net-worth clients, and managing various stages of the recruitment process.

This fully remote role is based in South Africa, offering UK working hours (Monday to Friday)
Competitive salary of R28,000 – R30,000 per month (DEO), excluding commission.

Responsibilities
  • Research and source passive candidates for executive roles, focusing on mining, commodities, and energy sectors.
  • Utilise advanced search techniques to uncover hard-to-find talent, particularly in African and emerging markets.
  • Initiate contact with candidates, building rapport and presenting opportunities professionally.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess suitability and gather essential information.
  • Assist with setting up and confirming interviews, following up, and maintaining accurate communication.
  • Support the Director with administrative tasks such as email follow-ups and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrate strong sales skills to effectively present roles to passive candidates.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communication style when interacting with high-net-worth clients.
  • Continuously develop a thorough understanding of the business and industry trends.
