If you are a reliable, customer-focused individual with a passion for providing exceptional service, Red Ember Recruitment is looking for you for a receptionist vacancy at one of our Clients in Bryanston.

Duties Include:
  1. Answer the phone in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  2. Assist clients regarding products and services offered where possible.
  3. Book clients in for various treatments.
  4. Ensure that client activity is entered onto the system.
  5. Maintain the laser register at all times.
  6. Work as a member of the team to ensure that the workplace is run professionally.
  7. Assist the manager with completing the necessary reports.
  8. Other reasonable ad hoc duties requested by the manager.
  9. Promote sales and client education of clients' own range of hair care products as appropriate for a proper home care regime.
  10. Provide education, information, and support for clients' proper handling of new hair replacement programs and lifestyle implications.
  11. Speak and behave in a professional manner at all times when at work or on duty at work-related occasions.
  12. Wear the prescribed uniform provided by the company in a clean and acceptable manner in line with AHS policies and procedures at all times.
  13. Speak respectfully about the company, its products, and procedures at all times to all, both within and outside of the company.
  14. Offer the company and its managers/management such ideas, information, concepts, and constructive criticism as is believed relevant to the improvement and forward growth of the company and client service.
  15. Protect and assist in the training, education, and support of team members, particularly new inductees, as and when appropriate to do so.
  16. Maintain a clean, tidy, and presentable work area at all times.
  17. Assist in the operation of the laser machines and similar equipment when required.
  18. Assist the manager in maintaining a clean, tidy, and presentable studio at all times in all areas.
  19. Ensure adequate stocks of adhesives, colourants, and other consumable products for the orderly running of the company.
  20. Liaise with the manager to ensure that the appropriate consumables and other professional products are ordered in good time to avoid any disruption in the service provided to clients.
  21. Deposit daily takings at the studio's bank when requested by or in the absence of the studio manager; this includes obtaining change and encashing petty cash cheques.
  22. Protect & assist in protecting the company's confidential information & physical property.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a reception or customer service role is advantageous.
  2. Professional demeanour with a positive attitude.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  6. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Matric.
  8. South African Citizen.
Education:

Matric, Computer Literate.
