Purpose of the Job:

To ensure execution of regional go to market strategy. Deliver effective and best in class promotional execution, aligned to national and regional strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieving Regional Promotions Plan across channels, segments and territories.
  2. Implement number of promotional activities requested by reps and approved by management within territory according to brand image.
  3. Achieved promotional targets as per sales plan.
  4. Effective Management of Promotional Equipment.
  5. Controlling, implementing and distributing all infrastructure to Promotions/events.
  6. Managing and Maintenance of all internal promotional infrastructures.
  7. Source and collect merchandise and setting up and breaking down promotions timeously.
  8. Booking back merchandising items used during promotions.
  9. Providing timeous feedback to team on areas for improvement on efficiencies, competition activities or any burning issue requiring quick solutions and attention.
  10. Stay abreast with Promotional trends & propose to internal stakeholders creative and new promotional concepts.
  11. Foster strong relationship with internal and external work partners.
  12. Ensure 100% compliance to the ARA Code.
  13. Follow the company's policies and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  1. Relevant Tertiary qualification in Marketing / Sales / Events or related qualification.
  2. Minimum of 1 year Sales/Marketing/ Events experience.
  3. Valid driver's license without endorsements.
  4. Experience in the alcoholic beverages industry is a plus.
  5. Excellent customer service skills.
  6. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Safe and responsible driving skills.
  9. Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
