Join to apply for the SAIPA Bookkeeper role at Prudent HR Solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAIPA-qualified Bookkeeper to join our client's team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  2. Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  4. Handle VAT calculations and submissions.
  5. Manage payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  6. Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
  7. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
  8. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation.
  9. Ensure compliance with SAIPA regulations and reporting standards.
Skills Required:
  1. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Knowledge of South African tax laws and statutory regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. SAIPA qualification and membership in good standing.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar role.
  3. A tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  5. Familiarity with SARS submissions and statutory compliance.
