Duties & Responsibilities

ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic FinTech enterprise on a growth trajectory is fuelling the local economy by empowering ambitious business owners. They are currently seeking a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in retaining and up-selling existing accounts within a high-volume sales setting. Managing a portfolio of over 200 clients, the role entails nurturing relationships with current clients and furthering their aspirations by addressing ongoing funding needs. Embracing an entrepreneurial ethos, the company boasts a vibrant and results-oriented market culture, attracting proactive individuals with a can-do mindset.

DUTIES:

Results Driven

  • Consistently achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual growth; achieving funded, revenue and other relevant performance targets.
  • Managing the retentions pipeline tightly to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets within the pricing parameters set.
  • Enhancing relationships with current and prospective clients by leveraging the credibility gained through knowledge and performance of the client's business environment and requirements.
  • Identify, address, and resolve concerns / queries within the business turn-around times required.
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Able to drive volume personally and through the team with tenacity in a tough economic climate with business owners who are busy and have options.

High performance leader

  • Management of your team to ensure that they achieve monthly targets to reach quarterly and yearly targets.
  • Ensure that salesforce is maintained, pipelines are being tightly managed, the sales process/SLAs are adhered to, client experience is managed and that your team lives the company's values.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to management.
  • Working cohesively with a cross-functional team.
  • Influence stakeholders, processes, and Salesforce builds to deliver on Retentions objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Technical skills

  • Extensive knowledge of sales principles and processes.
  • Strong sales and closing skills.
  • Process and data quality management.
  • Proficient in MS office and any CRM software (Salesforce would be highly advantageous).

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years B2B sales and account management / other relationship management experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully retaining and upselling to existing accounts.
  • Experience in working with a high volume of clients via email, digitally and telephonically.
  • Experience with SME's is preferential.
  • Team Management Experience (advantageous).
  • Financial Service experience (advantageous).

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
