How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Daily organization of bulk products to customers while minimizing the distribution cost and taking into account legal, operational & safety constraints.
The role is responsible for continuous customer supply and the ability to adapt the daily plan to daily constraints (product sourcing, trailers breakdown, drivers availability, etc.).
The candidate should understand and close the loop after deliveries, understand distribution KPIs, and be able to define concrete actions for continuous improvement.
1 - Optimizing Deliveries:- Daily review of customers' consumptions, identifying triggered customers to be delivered.
- Prepare the daily plan in the most optimized way, optimizing Km / ton, vehicle hours (Fleet & Drivers Utilization) for each trip.
- Adapt the proposed plan by ALTO to the daily constraints (Product availability, fleet breakdown, drivers availability).
- Close the trip after deliveries, understanding exceptions for future improvements.
- Update the transport management system (ALTO) with the right settings for future deliveries optimization.
- Analyze daily distribution KPIs in coordination with the bulk analyst, introducing potential savings opportunities.
- Assess regularly the transport system (ALTO) database & identify incoherent data in coordination with the bulk analyst & digital tools owner to correct incoherent data (Data cleaning).
- Provide coaching & training of other planners to raise their awareness of bulk fundamentals & best practices techniques for deliveries optimization.
Are you a MATCH? Educational requirements: Degree in Engineering or Production Management or Supply Chain qualification, targeting maximum 3 - 5 years. It is preferable to hire Engineers in this position. Preferably BSC in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) or Master Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: In supply chain management, planning, analytical skills, and attention to details. Experience in working with transporters.
Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job: Knowledge of supply chain and logistics management, safety procedures and safe driver behavior, customer needs and ordering patterns, run drives and planning, experience in AL policies and operations, product knowledge, transport efficiencies, and contract management. Manage cost and billing templates.
