We're looking for a Fullstack Developer to help us revolutionize the software development industry This role will involve full-stack web application development, database management, and usage of AWS web services. You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our existing and future platform, contributing to the product roadmap, and implementing innovative technologies to ensure client growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the client platform, utilizing .NET Framework 4.X, VB.NET, ASP.NET web forms, SQL Server, vanilla JS, Bootstrap, and HTML for day-to-day development
  • Build secure, performant, and well-documented REST APIs to enable new integrations with third-party systems
  • Convert legacy VBA desktop code to web-based ASP.NET applications or APIs.
  • Support automation of manual application deployments, introducing modern DevOps technologies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility of engineering processes
  • Adhere to WinFactor's Corporate Security program and stay up to date on technology and finance industry trends
  • Collaborate with off-site developers and other remote colleagues
  • Strictly adhere to established coding standards and practices, participate in code reviews, and ensure timely completion of any code review action items
  • Provide regular status updates on tasks, contributing to transparent and efficient project management
  • Ensuring your work aligns with best practices in security, scalability, and performance
  • Position is remote with working hours between 9am-5pm Eastern Standard Time, collaborating with a US-based team

Minimum Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with full-stack web development in a legacy .NET technology stack (.NET Framework 4.X, VB, ASP.NET web forms, SQL Server, native SQL (no ORM), vanilla JS, Bootstrap, and HTML)
  • 2+ years of experience building REST APIs
  • Proficiency in SQL Server database schema design and native SQL query building.
  • Ability and willingness to strictly adhere to coding standards, with great attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to document test plans and thoroughly test solutions before submitting pull requests
  • Strong proficiency with the Git version control system and adherence to established team norms for branching, commit frequency, and PR quality
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira
  • Familiarity with AWS (EC2, ALB, S3, Secrets Manager, AWS SDKs)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing development tasks simultaneously and meet promised deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills, capable of working independently and within a collaborative team environment

Desired Additional Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of invoicing, payment processing, collections, and reconciliation to support features related to factoring and cash flow management. Prior experience working with or developing financial accounting software is a huge plus
  • Knowledge of industry-specific financial workflows, including freight invoicing, fuel advances, and load settlements, is beneficial

Required Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development in a .NET framework stack (.NET Framework 4.X, VB.NET, ASP.NET web forms, SQL Server, native SQL (no ORM), vanilla JS, and Bootstrap)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Demonstrated success working in a remote-first environment, with frequent daily use of on-camera video conferencing and screen sharing
