Essential Experience & Qualifications required for consideration:

  • Postgraduate Honours (Master's degree highly preferred and will be given preference) in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years (preferred 8 years) HR experience, of which min 2 years (5 years preferred) must have been at Management level.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Zoho, Sage, SAP or similar)
  • Exposure to senior and executive management in terms of business partnering
  • Extensive experience in employee and industrial relations, recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Advanced /in-depth knowledge of Labour Legislation (LRA, BCEA, WCA, EEA)
  • Membership with SABPP (preferred).

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

1.Recruitment & Talent Management (20%)

  • Interview and recommend candidates aligned with company culture
  • Ensure proper induction and training for new recruits.

2.Employee Engagement & Retention (30%)

  • Build relationships with top talent and develop retention plans.
  • Monitor employee morale and advise management on improvement strategies.

3.Performance Management & Industrial Relations 35%)

  • Support management in employee performance monitoring.
  • Address performance issues proactively.

4. Statutory Compliance (10%)

  • Ensure full compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Prevent non-compliance orders and mitigate risks.

5. Monthly Reporting & Administration (5%)

  • Maintain an accurate HR tracker.
  • Process salary administration and verify payroll information.

  • Overtime and weekend work when required.
  • Travel as needed.
