Internal Sales Representative

Our client, suppliers of products in the Construction and Civils market is requiring a Internal Sales Representative to join their team

Job Type: Permanent – on Site

Location: Port Elizabeth/ Gqeberha

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation in order to reach strategic growth goals
  • Assisting clients with quotes, orders and invoices
  • Load customer details onto the system and ensure that all orders are accurately created and timeously distributed to the production department
  • Review order report daily
  • Follow up orders and back orders on the system
  • Invoicing
  • Ensure orders are delivered within specified lead time
  • Meet monthly sales quotas
  • Upsell to clients when possible.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries
  • Focus on increasing sales
  • Perform administrative and office support roles.
  • Ensure price lists are updated
  • Check the inventory on hand daily based on customer forecast.
  • Liaise with Finance Department regarding customers that are on hold.
  • Provide customers feedback in terms of urgent orders as well as products which are out of stock
  • Attend monthly meetings with management
  • Promote a positive image of the company through high-quality customer service

Experience and Qualification

  • Matric
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate
  • Drivers Licence – Code B

Skills

  • Strong communicator
  • Multitask and prioritize work
  • Customer focused
  • Deadline driven
