Assist with the day-to-day tasks that involves the coordination of the sales team which includes roster allocation, leave, etc.
Enable the sales team to perform their functions efficiently, by providing assistance in the management of instruments and inventory.
Assist by reviewing and adjusting the sales strategy, by coordinating team meetings, strategy reviews and strategy implementation tactics.
Ensuring correct processing, sales allocations and classifications.
Sales and Marketing of all products in the designated range.
Develop profitable and sustainable relationships with clients to drive business growth.
Set sales strategies for the territory & develop key customer strategies.
Lead the development of existing and new accounts.
Give technical support in operating theatre as required & ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE.
Plan and co-ordinate sales calls and strategies.
Prepare and submit weekly planners and reports.
Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars and theatre staff.
Prepare, review and update surgeon preference lists including quotes.
Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff.
Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in the annual sales plan for the territory.

A minimum of a BSc Degree in Human Movement / Health Sciences.
3 - 6 years working experience in the Orthopaedics Market.
Experience in leading a small team would be advantageous.
Spine implant as well as distal extremities knowledge will be an advantage.
Fluency in English a necessity.
A high quality of communication, planning and time management skills required.
Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating and feedback skills.
Valid code 08 drivers license & own reliable transport.
Able to work after hours & weekends.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook.
Area of work is Kwazulu-Natal.
