Job Duties:

Responsible for overseeing projects across various disciplines within the gold mining sector. This includes coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, such as IT specialists, engineers, planners, and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution. The role involves:

  • Facilitating collaboration between diverse teams to align project objectives.
  • Ensuring project delivery within approved timeframes and budget constraints.
  • Upholding quality standards and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to maintain project efficiency.
  • Providing structured reporting to stakeholders and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • Mining Experience - 5-8 years
  • Underground Mining Experience - 5 years
  • Gold Mining Experience - 5 years

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Management Consultant
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Project planning and execution
  • Risk management and mitigation
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Resource allocation and budget management
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
