INSIGHT OF THIS ROLE:
Your role as a Seamstress is to sew pieces and construct various garments as provided by your team leader and production manager. As a seamstress, you will have to achieve a certain count of manufactured garments as allocated by the production manager.

Outlined below are the duties and responsibilities of a Seamstress

• Responsible for the sewing of garments allocated. This includes the following: -

o Stitching and unstitching of garments.
o Following up on garments to be sewn
o Sewing garments per size measurements provided.
o Inline quality control.
o Coordinating with the production supervisor.
o Notifying the team leader if and when there's a problem with the pattern.
o Ensuring that the sewing machine is in good working order.
o Ensuring that garments sewn are complete before sending off to the QC.
