Group Procurement Manager: Santam Technology Services (Sanlam) We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage and coordinate IT and IT‑related services across the Santam Group, based in Tygervalley, Cape Town. Key Responsibilities Classify spend and perform detailed spend analysis for technology services. Develop procurement business cases for technology categories. Initiate procurement initiatives and deliver approved category plans. Source and contract manage commodities within the procurement portfolio. Manage cost and savings against agreed budgets. Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and develop new procurement initiatives. Manage supplier relationships, maintain contracted database, and ensure compliance. Maintain reporting platforms and validate system integrity and data quality. Manage internal stakeholder relationships between procurement, operations/business, and clients. Participate as needed in Cross‑Functional Sourcing Team meetings. Deliver on strategic business initiatives to achieve cost savings, optimal supply solutions, best‑practice processes, and a team culture of engagement and transformation. Qualifications & Experience BComm (preferred) or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Admitted Attorney with LLB or recognised legal degree (advantageous). Significant experience negotiating and drafting IT contracts (SaaS, SLA, MSA, etc.). Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) and/or PMI. Minimum 10 years practical experience in procurement/supply chain in financial services. Experience in information technology and InsureTech procurement. Experience in sourcing, contracting, and supplier management across multiple spend categories. Experience implementing procurement policies, processes, and benchmarking. International procurement project experience is advantageous. Knowledge & Skills Excellent stakeholder interaction and cross‑functional collaboration.
