This remote-first position is ideal for an individual with a profound understanding of smart contracts, tokenomics, and blockchain protocols, eager to contribute to the next generation of financial systems. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying complex DeFi protocols and smart contracts that drive innovation in areas such as lending, borrowing, trading, and asset management. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts for various DeFi protocols.
• Implement core logic for decentralized exchanges (DEXs), lending platforms, yield farming protocols, and other DeFi applications.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for major blockchain networks.
• Collaborate with product managers, economists, and other engineers to define and implement new DeFi features and products.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, security audits, and vulnerability assessments of protocol code.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in the DeFi ecosystem and blockchain technology.
• Participate in tokenomic design discussions and contribute to the economic modeling of protocols.
• Contribute to technical documentation and community engagement efforts.
• Ensure the robust functioning and security of deployed DeFi protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience developing smart contracts using Solidity and frameworks like Hardhat or Truffle.
• In-depth understanding of DeFi concepts, including AMMs, lending protocols, stablecoins, and yield optimization strategies.
• Experience with blockchain analysis tools and security best practices for smart contracts.
• Familiarity with common DeFi exploits and mitigation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and its intricacies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language like JavaScript, Python, or Go.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
