Job Description An established and reputable organisation in the Financial Services industry is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the business. This pivotal role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with strong analytical acumen, a solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for executive decision‑making. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage the finance function ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, business planning and cash flow management across all business units. Prepare and review monthly management accounts, annual financial statements and audit packs. Maintain effective internal controls including management of the Fixed Asset Register. Analyse financial results, identify trends, risks and opportunities and propose corrective actions. Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure payroll accuracy in collaboration with HR and maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Develop and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Drive efficiency, accuracy and best practices within the finance department. Qualifications : Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance or a related field (essential). Minimum of 2 years experience in a Financial Manager or Senior Accounting role (required). Requirements : Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant within the financial services environment or similar. Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to resolve complex financial issues. Hands‑on experience in general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting and month‑end processes. Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial data analysis capability. Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks or similar). Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and communication skills. Proactive, solutions‑driven mindset with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Key Outcomes : Accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting. Budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic business targets. Sound cash flow, working capital and cost management. Enhanced financial insight and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
