Shift One is looking for an experienced and passionate WordPress Developer to join our team As aWordPress Developer at our company, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-enddevelopment. We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and contentmanagement systems, have an eye for layout design and an understanding of aesthetics, UI and UX. Job level: Junior – Mid-levelType: Permanent, full-timeExperience: 2-3 years experience The candidate will have the following responsibilities: Website design and development Set up of new web sites Creating pages Update copy and images (supplied) Website fix-up projects as needed Take a site live following strict go-live processes Technical SEO Designing and implementing new features and functionality Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS Platform Requirements Good working knowledge and experience in (advantageous): Personal Attributes: Detail oriented Good communicator Self-motivated, takes initiative and independent Prioritisation Communication with team Raising issues early with team and client Ability to thoroughly research best practice within the digital landscape Willingness and hunger to learn new technologies and frameworks on the job Client liaison and communication Deal directly with clients to update on project progress, and if any issues arise Ability to take ownership and run with a project Ready to start innovating your brand with us? #J-18808-Ljbffr
