Underground Electrician

Job Title: Underground Electrician - Mining - Mpumalanga Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a skilled Underground Electrician to join their mining team in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an underground mining environment. Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in underground mining operations - Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation - Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner - Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and meet project deadlines - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management - Assist with the training and development of junior electricians as needed Requirements: - Grade 12 or equivalent qualification - Trade certificate as an Electrician - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician in underground mining operations - Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams - Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Willingness to work in a physically demanding and sometimes dangerous underground environment - Valid driver's license Benefits: Salary: R800k R900k CTC If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by emailing your CV to mininghireresolve.za.com or visit our website: You are also welcome to contact Stefnie Bestbier, Janoke Booysen and Menina Campher on LinkedIn
