Clinical Facilitator - Cape Town Medical / Emergency / Health / Lab Cape Town - Western Cape CLINICAL FACILITATOR Cape Town We are looking for a Clinical Facilitator to join our team. REQUIREMENTS Diploma / degree in Nursing Education Masters degree in nursing / related field or in a process of acquiring Current registration with the South African Nursing Council as Professional Nurse and Midwife Substantial practical or professional experience gained from practice either at a Primary Health Care (PHC) or hospital setting DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OFF SITE (AT HEALTH FACILITIES) Include staff in hospital orientation and induction Introduce staff to hospital mentors Ensure staff are properly attired Check SANC receipts of staff Check criminal records Explain hours of duty GENERAL Commute to various health facilities Investigate staff complaints Assist with disciplinary issues prn Check on staff progress Interact with Heads of Nursing, CEOs, mentors, and other staff at the health facilities Play supportive role to staff Interact with HEIs (Universities / Nursing Colleges) Attend various nursing programs e.g., IND, Madiba Day Continuous feedback to employer and hospital staff ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES Must have an in-depth knowledge of the subject field in any nursing discipline. Computer literacy in MS Office, email, and internet. Ability to generate accredited research outputs. Effective time-management skills. Effective communication skills. Good interpersonal relations and a client-service orientation. The ability to function well individually and as part of a team / subject group. Good analytical abilities and innovative thinking, as well as ability to be self-driven. The ability to solve problems independently. Good time-management and problem-solving skills. Good planning and organizing skills as well as good report writing skills. A high level of professional and ethical conduct.
