Job Description Are you a qualified finance professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for unlisted investments A leading asset management firm is recruiting for a dynamic Fund Financial Accountant to join their Investment Finance division. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of financial reporting and strategic support within a high-performing purpose-driven team. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge sound analytical capability and a passion for delivering high-quality financial insights that guide impactful investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Liaise with internal departments external auditors clients and regulatory bodies Draft technical accounting opinions on complex transactions Provide expertise on IFRS IFRS for SMEs and GRAP standards Assist in IFRS conversion and reconciliation projects Provide industry-specific accounting advice Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions on reporting systems Clear reconciliations in line with policy and procedure guidelines Accurately account for corporate actions and verify asset prices Conduct analytical reviews of reconciliation discrepancies Prepare timely portfolio and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders Mentor and guide fund accountants as needed Support the management of audits (internal and external) Authorise unlisted investment payments Key Requirements Degree in Accounting or equivalent Honours Degree in Accounting (or equivalent) Completed SAICA Articles Professional designation : CA(SA) or CGMA Minimum 5 years of relevant post-articles experience Strong technical knowledge of IFRS GRAP and financial reporting frameworks Previous experience in asset management or investment finance is advantageous EE Disclaimer All positions will be filled in accordance with the companys Employment Equity plan.
