Overview Join to apply for the Senior Civil Engineer (Water) - Infrastructure role at Arup . Our South Africa team is currently looking for an experienced water‑focused Senior Civil Engineer with excellent Project Management experience to join our dynamic team working on innovative and exciting infrastructure projects in Africa. Water impacts millions of people across the African continent, and with population growth and climate change, Africa is a high‑need area for holistic water solutions. We are building an agile, forward‑thinking water team to positively impact people, livelihoods and the environment. The Opportunity The primary focus of the role is to assist with the successful implementation of a large bulk water supply scheme in South Africa. This role requires proactive engagement to secure timely approvals and to collaborate across Arup’s knowledge base with a wide network of technical experts. You will also work on a broad range of water focused infrastructure projects across Africa including water resources / supply, treatment, reuse, water flood resilience and stormwater management, being involved at all stages of the project cycle from strategic definition and conceptual design through detailed design and implementation, including technical advisory and due diligence.
