About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their team, supporting operations in and around Nelspruit . This role is essential for managing and monitoring clinical trials, ensuring data integrity, patient safety, and adherence to protocols and regulations. You will act as a vital link between investigative sites and the sponsor, conducting site visits, training staff, and overseeing study conduct. This hybrid role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge pharmaceutical research while maintaining a balance between field responsibilities and remote administrative tasks, ensuring the successful execution of critical clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements
- Perform site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical data
- Manage study supplies and investigational product accountability at sites
- Train site personnel on study procedures and regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for investigative sites and resolve study-related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in the pharmaceutical industry
- In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory guidelines
- Experience in site monitoring, data verification, and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to sites as needed and work effectively in a hybrid remote/field environment based near Nelspruit
