Job Title Senior Manager – Graduate Recruitment Location Johannesburg, South Africa (daily office presence required) Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee the National Graduate Recruitment Strategy for KPMG. Develop and oversee the Bursary Management Strategy for KPMG. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in audit recruitment. Ensure an effective social media strategy is developed and maintained. Oversee Graduate Recruitment Managers in developing an annual recruitment plan. Lead the full Graduate Recruitment Process from student engagement to signing. Measure the recruitment pipeline to ensure targets are met; report shortfalls to Manco. Implement interventions to achieve Graduate targets and improve procedures and policies. Oversee Bursary Managers in developing the annual bursary plan and managing applications, renewals, and payments. Build and maintain relationships with universities, lecturers, and student bodies to attract top talent. Develop strategic partnerships with selected top universities, including KPMG‑specific projects. Attend industry and career events to promote the KPMG brand. Manage Graduate Recruitment and Bursary staff and address HR matters with Business Partners. Engage with the Thuthuka Team on allocation, B‑BBEE reporting, and contract management. Ensure compliance with KPMG policies and procedures; manage budgets and reporting on risks and controls. Report key Graduate Recruitment and Bursary matters to relevant Partners and HR Partners; provide data analysis of programmes. Assist with other functions as required. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, business writing, and presentation skills. Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities. Team player with a professional work ethic. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and uphold ethical standards. Experience in university and graduate recruitment relationships. Minimum Requirements CA(SA). At least three years in a Manager role. Strong knowledge of recruitment and bursary management processes. Proven experience managing university relationships and graduate recruitment. Experience with recruitment and bursary management systems. In‑depth understanding of the audit industry and its hiring needs. Understanding of the needs of audit, advisory, and tax business units. Required to travel to universities across provinces. Valid driver’s licence.
