About the Role
Our client, a premier automotive dealership in Rustenburg, is actively searching for a results-oriented and experienced Automotive Dealership General Manager to lead their operations. This executive role involves overseeing all aspects of the dealership, including sales, service, parts, finance, and customer relations, to drive profitability and maintain a high standard of service. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, leading and motivating a large team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This is a critical leadership position requiring a deep understanding of the automotive retail landscape and a passion for excellence in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage all dealership operations, including sales, service, parts, finance, and administrative functions. Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of dealership staff, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and manufacturer standards and policies. Manage dealership inventory, capital expenditures, and operational budgets effectively. Cultivate strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers to enhance brand reputation and loyalty. Requirements Proven track record of success in a senior management role within the automotive dealership environment. Extensive knowledge of dealership operations, including sales, finance, and after-sales service. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team. Demonstrated ability in financial management, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning. Excellent understanding of the South African automotive market dynamics and customer expectations.
