Hello, future Data Scientist III We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist III to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python and experienced in building and deploying machine learning models, Generative AI applications, and AI agents. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, practical deployment experience, and a passion for automation and intelligent systems. Are you someone who: Has designed, tested, and deployed end-to-end machine learning and Generative AI models using Python and Azure Functions. Built classification models to optimise customer experience and interactions by enhancing resolution speed and customer satisfaction. Able to apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) to automate quality assurance processes and assess whether queries were resolved effectively. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and continuously refining algorithms for accuracy and relevance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes and improve operational efficiency. Preparing and analyzing data to support model development and business insights. Creating dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and internal governance frameworks. Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to model governance and ethical data practices. Build models that analyse processes to recommend areas for optimisation to achieve cost savings, revenue generation or efficiency improvements for the business. Conduct appropriate manipulation and analysis of data to pro-actively identify and meet needs of the business for the purpose of future work and to ensure high information-quality and reliability across the business. Implement Machine learning mathematical algorithms and automation techniques using open-source programming languages such as SAS or Python libraries. Utilise advanced Predictive modelling techniques to hold insight into outcomes and future events that confront key assumptions. Review and support more Junior Data Scientists with processes and models. What we’re looking for: Minimum qualification: A bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics and/or related field. Preferred qualification: Honours degree. Experience: A minimum of 6–8 years’ relevant experience in a Data science or similar role. Proven experience deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions in Python. Advanced proficiency in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy). Hands‑on experience with Generative AI frameworks and AI agent development. Strong Natural Language Processing (NLP) skills for classification, sentiment analysis, and conversational AI. Strong level of proficiency in SQL is essential. Familiarity with MLOps and cloud‑native deployment strategies. Experience with Power Automate; Power BI is an advantage.
