About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support their Human Resources department remotely, with a base in the Sandton area. This role is essential for managing HR administrative tasks, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the HR function. You will be a key support to the HR team and employees, ensuring efficient processes and accurate record-keeping. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain broad experience in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence. Maintain employee records and update the HRIS system with accurate information. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Support recruitment activities, such as posting job ads, screening applications, and coordinating interviews. Respond to general employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures. Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations. Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems is advantageous. Familiarity with basic South African labor law principles. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
