About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and technically proficient Architectural Designer to join their team in Mossel Bay. This role involves actively participating in the design development and documentation phases of various architectural projects, ranging from commercial renovations to new residential builds. You will collaborate closely with senior architects and project managers, contributing innovative ideas and ensuring the visual and functional integrity of designs. This position is ideal for a designer who is passionate about creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces and is eager to grow within a respected firm in the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs, concepts, and renderings for client presentations.
- Prepare detailed design development drawings and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors to integrate various building systems.
- Assist in site analysis and due diligence for new project acquisitions.
- Ensure design proposals meet client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design talent and technical execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
