This position entails supporting Hire Resolve's client in ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and related SHEQ laws. The role involves managing the SHE Management System, conducting staff training, reporting SHE statistics, and assisting in incident investigations. Additionally, it involves maintaining SHE policies, procedures, and aiding in the ISO 9001 accreditation process.Responsibilities: Assist in complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant SHEQ laws. Manage and upkeep the SHE Management System. Ensure completion of annual statutory SHE training for all staff. Conduct SHE Induction for new employees and refresher training for existing staff. Provide monthly SHE statistics reports to MANCOM. Assist in compiling SHE files, assessing compliance, conducting field activity audits, and leading incident investigations as necessary. Review and maintain SHE policies and procedures. Aid in the implementation of the ISO 9001 accreditation process. Requirements: Matric Accredited SAMTRAC Certification Knowledge and application of SHEQ practices, procedures, and policies. Proficiency in computer literacy and administration. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. 2-3 years of SHEQ experience in a consulting environment. Experience assisting in the implementation of ISO 9001 accreditation process is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively. Strong planning and organizational skills. Deadline-oriented. Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude, and a professional, business-minded approach.
