About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Outreach Program Manager to join their team in Pretoria. This role is focused on developing and executing strategic outreach initiatives that connect underserved communities with vital social services and resources. You will play a key role in building trust and fostering collaboration with community leaders, residents, and partner organizations. The hybrid nature of this role allows for engagement with both internal teams and direct community interaction, ensuring programs are responsive and effective in meeting diverse local needs, contributing significantly to social upliftment efforts in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative community outreach strategies and action plans.
  • Identify and engage target communities, building relationships with key stakeholders and community members.
  • Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and information sessions.
  • Coordinate the delivery of social services and resources to community members, ensuring accessibility.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach programs, providing regular reports on activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to leverage resources and support program goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in community outreach, program management, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of social issues and community needs within Pretoria and surrounding areas.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model, with flexibility for occasional travel and evening/weekend events.
