About the Role
Our client seeks a skilled Operations Manager specializing in logistics to lead their operations in Stellenbosch . This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of supply chain, warehousing, and transportation activities. You will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes, managing a dedicated team, and implementing strategies to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery times.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
- Lead and mentor the logistics team, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory management and warehouse operations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics Operations Management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehousing, and transportation management.
- Proven experience in optimizing logistics processes and reducing operational costs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
